Kagerou Restaurant

For Kagerou, a Japanese-inspired restaurant, NC1 Design developed both the interior design and a custom tile pattern system to create a warm, immersive dining atmosphere.
The spatial concept is defined by natural wood structures, soft ambient lighting, and a calm beige palette, evoking a refined yet approachable mood. At the heart of the design is the lattice-like wooden ceiling feature, which provides rhythm and depth while anchoring the dining area.
To complement the interior, NC1 Design created bespoke wall tiles arranged in modular geometric patterns. These tiles reinterpret traditional Japanese motifs through contemporary abstraction, blending curves, lines, and textures in a muted green and beige scheme. The repetition and variation of these modules add subtle dynamism, enriching the walls with a layered visual identity.
Together, the interior and tile design articulate a cohesive environment where tradition meets modernity, reinforcing Kagerou’s positioning as a sophisticated dining destination.
